Commentary: It is a great news that a Vietnamese descent’s aspirations are within reach. It is intriguing that Monika Leová does not carry her Vietnamese father last name. Is it done to prevent discrimination or prejudice?
However, the polish daughters Edyta Rose Krejner and Violetta Mai Krejner, who won the Miss Vietnam in Poland did not carry a Vietnamese last name either. It is strange phenomenon!
